Step 1: Ready your nails by first removing any previous nail polish.

Step 2: Next, use an antibacterial hand wash to clean your hands and fingernails thoroughly.

Step 3: Trim and shape your nails using a nail file, then take a nail buffer and gently remove any shine on the surface to help with adhesion and dust removal.

Step 4: Soak your nails in warm water around 3 minutes then trim cuticles. Your nails are now prepared.

Step 5: The base coat is now applied onto your nails, the color is usually pale cream, light pink or clear.

Step 6: White tipping – the most iconic and trickiest step in French polish

Step 7: In this final step, apply a top coat on your nails for better protection and durability.
